I'michael new here and greatly appreciate any advice you may have to provide. I've used the Yéti mic for oné voice over therefore far and I adore it. I was however obtaining the hateful Iatency that I experienced hoped not really as well.

I just recorded my very first voice over without earphones to avoid the hold off but that of training course is not heading to reduce it in the long run. Have got any of you used the Yeti ánd can you tell me how you connected it up to obtain proper reaction with no hold off?

Feb 23, 2011 - I've used the Yeti mic for one voice over so far and I love it. I am however getting the hateful latency that I had hoped not too. I have noticed, in comparison to what I heard when I was using the XP system, that there is a slight delay in hearing myself in the speakers when I speak in the microphone. I have the microphone (uses a 1/4 inch plug, not a USB microphone) and 2 music keyboards connected to a mixer board, which is then plugged into the mic jack on the back of. How do I fix the delay in audio recording. Notion, Nimbit, XLR cable, M7 Mic, Headphones and USB 2.0 Hub). Its going to be a balancing act between a smaller buffer to make the delay go away, and what your computer can handle. If you start getting choppy/stuttering playback, you will have to increase the buffer a bit. Your best bet is to selected a USB microphone that has ASIO drivers provided by the manufacturer. ASIO is a driver model created by Steinberg, which can deliver 5-10ms latency though a DAW.
